2.5 quintillion bytes of data (1 followed by 18 zeros) were created every day in 2012, with 90% of the world’s data created in the last two years alone. People send more than 144.8 billion email messages per day.

You share and create personal data online/offline everyday including personal fitness, location, credit card, name, address, preferences, purchases, likes/dislikes, friends etc.

Assurant is thinking about how to help you manage and protect all this personal information (everything from your security and identity down to your reputation and network).

Deliverables

Consider the vast quantity and types of your personal data. Then submit the following:

1. What tools would you want to better control your personal information and identity? (Personal, financial, social, location, etc.)

2. Define how this solution would work?

3. What control or abilities would you want from these tools?

4. Provide a brief diagram of the solution

CRITERIA:

Top ideas will identify realistic scenarios where information management is needed and propose unique applications to address these needs.
